FEEDING PROGRAMME

There are over 100 colonies being cared for within the local community.
If you are able to donate food to our feeding programme please drop off at the Bellavista Pension in

Puerto Pollenca.

If you would you like to help and learn more about what we do and how you can get involved, we would love to hear from you.

TRAP, NEUTER, RETURN PROGRAMME

The Associations' prime objective is to keep the colonies under control through a trap, neuter, return programme.

We are always looking for help with trapping and full training can be given.

It is hugely rewarding work and a can be an enjoyable team experience.

Please email us to find out more.

ADOPTION AND FOSTERING PROGRAMME

Whilst our aim is to maintain healthy cats and kittens in their natural environment, occasionally we have to rescue vulnerable cats and kittens from dangerous situations or rehabilitate them. We are therefore always in need of foster carers, particularly in the summer months - for both short term or long term.

If you're on an extended holiday and think you can help us, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.

ABOUT US

Cat Protection Pollensa is comprised of a small team of dedicated volunteers who are striving to help and support the local cat colonies and control the overall population growth of Pollensa's street cats using a Trap, Neuter, Return programme. We have many requests for help but unfortunately cannot always respond due to limited resources. However, we can always signpost people to a local vet if required.

We do not have a refuge facility but we do try to rescue vulnerable cats and kittens from dangerous situations where possible and rely on foster carers. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover other areas of Mallorca outside of the municipality of Pollensa as we do not have the volunteers or funding to do so.

We rely solely on the generosity of others to support and fund our work which includes feeding, veterinary care where needed and the trap, neuter, return programme.

We receive no funding from the local council to help us in our work.

Please read on to see how you can help us.
